Koni Shock Adjustment Diagram 1

EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLES
These dampers can be adjusted while mounted on the car.

ADJUSTMENT
BY KNOB (fig.1)

  1. Take the adjusting knob which is supplied, open the bonnet and find the top of the front dampers and fit the adjusting knob.
  2. Now turn the adjusting knob clockwise. If you feel resistance do no use force, as the damper is in an unadjusted position. Reverse the adjustment slightly and try again.
  3. To adjust the damping force, the knob has to be turned in the direction of the arrow for increased damping and in the opposite direction for decreased damping.
  4. After adjustment remove the adjusting knob in order to prevent possible damage of the bonnet

ADJUSTMENT
BY PIN (fig.2)

  1. The adjuster window always shows 2 adjuster holes of the adjuster wheel. In these holes a pin with an outer diameter of 3mm can be inserted or a 2.5mm allen key can be used.
  2. If the higher damping forces are required, put the adjuster pin in the hole next to the - (minus) sign and turn the pin towards the + (plus) sign. We call this one sweep. The total adjustment is 7 or 8 sweeps.
  3. Always first turn to the left (-). if no further turning is possible, the unadjusted position has been reached again.
Turning to the right(+) will increase the damping forces.
WARNING: Adjust both left and right dampers identically, Failure to do so may lead to unstable handling.
